About Orchard Lyceum
The Orchard Lyceum is a Montessori school for students in grades 6, 7 and 8, located in the heart of downtown Toronto. The Lyceum builds upon the foundation created by Casa and Elementary Montessori programs, but students from all programs are welcome.
The Lyceum is a dynamic, creative environment that focuses equally on creative and academic studies. Despite its art focus, Lyceum students often enter secondary school advanced math and science programs.
Students also benefit from The Lyceum’s roster of dedicated guides, tutors and mentors who are invested in sharing their skills and experiences, fostering innovation and real-world critical thinking examples. Small class sizes mean that your child gets significant one-on-one time with teachers and guides.

“The teachers must have the greatest respect for the young personality, realizing that in the soul of the adolescent great values are hidden, and that in the minds of these boys and girls there lies our hope of future progress and the judgement of ourselves and our times.”
– Maria Montessori
