The Praxis Project: A Radio Station Called the Queen’s Voice
Lyceum students have to develop and run an enterprise as part of their curriculum. This year, they chose a radio station. What better time for there to be a fresh voice at the corner of Queen and Crawford? The word from the street as told by the youth? What better time than a lockdown to launch such a venture? Stay tuned as we try to get this thing off the ground in the middle of January in a pandemic.
Throughout the fall, we did some radio tests in the form of Halloween radio play for students at our sister school, an interview with visiting artist Quincy Raby and a debate. We are developing content now but if you have any suggestions on what you’d like to hear, drop us a line firstname.lastname@example.org
